Add Custom Domain To Your Account

Although Profreehost allows you to establish an unlimited number of free sub domains, you may need to register your own domain with Profreehost free premium hosting if you have a small business website.

On any known domain registrar, like GoDaddy, NameSilo, etc., you can register your Top-Level Domain (e.g. yourcompany.com).

To setup your existing domain with Profreehost's free web hosting, you need to follow the following simple steps:

1. Change Name Servers on your Domain Registrar Panel

To begin, go to your domain registrar's DNS manager and update the name servers for your domain.

For example, in case you registered your domain on GoDaddy, Login to your account there. Then click Manage infront of Domains.

Click on the domain you want to add to your hosting account.

Click on Manage in Nameservers box.

Add following name servers:

ns1.ezyro.com
ns2.ezyro.com

and click Ok.

Note: it can take anywhere between 5 minutes to 3 days for DNS changes to take effect. Process is similar on other domain registrars.

2. Add Domain to Your Profreehost cPanel

Add your domain name. If your DNS is propagated, you will see a success message.

3. Upload Files to Right Directory

On successful addition, you will see a directory with name of your custom domain name in File Manager.

You wcan upload your website content/files in htdocs folder inside your domain directory.

That's it. Now you can start working with your own branded website.
