Can't change email addresses

Hello, I am trying to change my administration email address because I made a mistake when I reguistered and ever since I tried to change it I have a message underneath that says "There is a pending change of the admin email to..." ever since then, I am getting impirtant emails to the correct email address but in general the wrong email address is still the main one. Can someone help me, how can I delete the wrong email completly?.
