SSL

Hi I've read similar problems like this on this forum, but it is still not solved. I copied the certificate from cloudflare and pasted it in the ssl option in cPanel. But it gives me a error 'The certificate uploaded is NOT for the domain name example.com'. How to fix this?

    Hello,

You can use SSL certificates only on Custom Domain accounts. Moreover, CA chain certificates are not supported.

Yes, I have a custom domain bought from godaddy. But SSL was not activated.

@badbod, Domains that are not free sub domains provided by us are custom domains. Yes, they are addon domains usually.

@Jokopolo, Cloudflare needs to verify the domains by a CNAME record. It can take sometime for dns records to update after you enable cloudflare on your account.

If you still get error, you can try enabling cloudflare manually.
