A Canonical Name record (abbreviated as CNAME record) is a type of resource record in the Domain Name System (DNS) used to specify that a domain name is an alias for another domain (the 'canonical' domain). -
You need IP address of the server for A record. Once the account is created, you can find IP address of the server where your account is hosted by using google dig tool.
But as you might have noticed, you need to point your domain to our nameservers at-least for once to create account. Once it is done, you can remove namervers and add A record.You can contact your domain registrar and they might let you change nameservers for sometime.
