FTP for a newbie

Hi,

I have just created an account which was easy, but I am unable to connect via FTP. My question is how long does it take for the account to complete creating or is it almost straight away?

I have input all the information requested, host name, user name and password but the ftp comes back as access denied.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    It can take up to 15 minutes.
    Give it some time after creating a account.
    A recommended FTP client is FileZilla
