Must I activate PHP somewhere on Freehost or should it work right away?
I can't run any PHP. Nothing works.
Do I need a seperate folder or what is wrong?

Now I get the message all PHP resources are used up. I'm only trying to write a web form to .txt.

What? Can you sent a screenshot?
This error only shows up when you use a heavy script that requires all the PHP resources of the server.
